Ryan & Co. — Private Exotic Vehicle Acquisition

About Ryan & Co.

We Believe Great Cars Deserve Great Guidance.

Ryan & Co. is a private acquisition firm for exotic and collector cars — not a traditional dealership. We exist to find the right car, not simply any car, and we answer to one party alone: the buyer.

The Model

A buyer's agent, not a seller's floor.

Consider how the finest homes change hands. When you buy a house, the listing agent works for the seller — their mandate is the highest price on the seller's terms. A buyer's agent exists to invert that relationship, representing your interests alone.

The exotic-car market works no differently. A dealer, however reputable, ultimately represents the inventory on the floor. Ryan & Co. represents only the buyer. We are retained by you, accountable to you, and measured by the quality of the car we help you acquire.

That single distinction changes everything downstream — which cars we recommend, how candidly we assess condition, and how hard we press in a negotiation.

A dealer says
“We have a GT3.”
A broker says
“We can source a GT3.”
Ryan & Co. says
“We'll tell you if you shouldn't buy either one.”

Our Principles

How we work, and why it protects you.

Independence
We hold no inventory and carry no sales quotas. Our only obligation is to the buyer, which means our advice is never shaped by what a showroom needs to move.
Research-Driven
Every recommendation is grounded in market data, production knowledge, and condition analysis — not enthusiasm for a particular sale.
Discretion
Acquisitions are handled privately and quietly. Your search, your budget, and your collection remain confidential from first conversation to final delivery.
Alignment
Our interests sit entirely on your side of the table. When you win — the right car, at the right price, without the wrong surprises — so do we.

The Founder

Nick Ryan

Founder, Ryan & Co.

For over a decade, I have immersed myself in the world of exotic, luxury, and collector automobiles. My passion extends far beyond driving these cars — it lies in understanding the market itself. I have spent years studying vehicle values, production numbers, ownership trends, depreciation, maintenance considerations, and the characteristics that separate exceptional examples from ordinary ones.

My professional background in sales administration and business operations taught me how to manage complex transactions, communicate clearly with clients, and oversee the details that matter when significant investments are involved. Combined with years of dedicated market research, those skills form the foundation of Ryan & Co.

What sets Ryan & Co. apart is independence. Unlike a traditional dealership, I am not trying to sell you my inventory. Unlike many brokers, I am not motivated to steer you toward a specific car because it benefits me financially. My responsibility is to represent one party — the client. Whether the right decision is a Ferrari, a Lamborghini, a Porsche, an Aston Martin, a McLaren, a Lotus, or walking away from a deal entirely, my objective never changes: to protect my client's interests and help them make the most informed decision possible.

I believe every exotic automobile purchase deserves the same diligence as any major investment. That means carefully evaluating history, condition, market value, ownership costs, and future collectability — and negotiating from a position that prioritizes the client, not the transaction.

Success at Ryan & Co. is not measured by how many cars are sold. It is measured by the confidence my clients have when they take delivery of the right car — or when they avoid buying the wrong one.

My role is simple: objective guidance, transparent advice, and unwavering advocacy through every stage of the acquisition. When my clients succeed, Ryan & Co. succeeds.

Recommendations driven by research and market knowledge, never by a sales quota.

If you are considering an exotic or collector car and want an advisor whose interests are aligned with yours, we would welcome the conversation.
